  1. Is NFL flag football safe?
    Yes. Specific rules state there is no blocking, tackling or even jumping while in possession of the ball. In someways, the sport is more akin to basketball as it is 5 on 5 with no contact.
  2. What is the time commitment?
    Flag football games are played once a week. The games last only 40 minutes long. Practice time is up limited to just prior to the game.
  3. When are the games played?
    Games are played on Friday evenings from 5:30 p.m. onward under the lights at Highland Park in San Carlos. Youngest players play first.
  4. Can my player be on a friends team?
     We'll do our best to try to accommodate requests.
  5. What equipment is required?
    Flag football requires only a mouthguard, a pair of pants without pockets, typically athletic shorts will work fine. Some players like to have soft kneepads to protect themselves from turf burns. Others like to have gloves to help them catch the ball. However none of that is required. No metal cleats are allowed for safety reasons, turf shoes are OK. The league will provide flags, NFL team jerseys and balls.
